Product Manager

The Product Manager defines and implements strategies to address market requirements for the product menu. They perform product management and prepare marketing support programs for dedicated product lines. They provide marketing assistance to field personnel and customers, leveraging scientific expertise to ensure objectives are met, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape tactics, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.

Key Accountabilities

Prepare the launch of new products: conduct market research, positioning, competitor analysis, publications, and develop value propositions.
Stay updated on market needs and competitor activities.
Provide the commercial network with arguments to counter objections, based on value-selling methods.
Prepare marketing materials: brochures, catalogs, presentations, digital campaigns, etc.
Prepare essential product information such as registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, and inserts.
Participate in workshops, congresses, scientific sessions, and other events.
Encourage product evaluations to generate scientific articles.
Assist in tender preparations, especially in writing technical sections, collaborating with sales and tenders departments.
Maintain up-to-date data in the computer system (SAP) and the company's website.
Act as a key technical liaison, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service, and customers.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding product issues and updates.
Work with logistics to manage incidents like back orders and stock management.
Maintain communication with technical services regarding issues with instruments, software, and reagents.
Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support the sales team during customer visits.
Deliver presentations to customers and train sales staff.
Manage and drive internal projects with minimal supervision.
Ensure compliance with the company's Code of Ethics.

Minimum Knowledge & ExperienceEducation

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Life Sciences or Medicine is desirable. Knowledge in Hematology is highly valuable. An additional degree in business administration, marketing, or similar is preferred.

Experience

At least three years' experience in the IVD industry or a medical/technical role in a hospital IVD laboratory, preferably in hematology.

Skills & Capabilities

Fluent in Spanish; Portuguese is valuable.
Business acumen, effective team player, independent project management.
Customer focus, excellent communication skills, creativity, organizational agility.
Ability to build relationships, planning, and results-driven.

Travel Requirements

Up to 30% of the time.
Territory includes Spain and Portugal, with occasional travel elsewhere for business.
