Position Details:
$1,400 weekly guaranteed pay, which includes per diem.
4 Day Work Weeks - Home DAILY (Dispatch times range from 11:30pm-2am).

Position Purpose:
The role of our delivery drivers is essential in maintaining the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers ensure timely and safe delivery of customer products, building lasting relationships as they serve as the face of our company.
The driver is responsible for operating a tractor trailer or straight truck on various delivery routes, ensuring the safe and timely distribution and unloading of food and related products in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Professionally communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries.

Collaborate as a team member within the department and organization, performing all duties assigned to best serve the company.

Conduct all safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections of vehicles according to DOT regulations, and report any safety issues promptly.

Follow DOT regulations and adhere to company driving safety guidelines and policies, including reporting safety hazards and ensuring all freight is securely loaded.

Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices of products loaded.

Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined delivery schedule and unload products into designated storage areas.

Verify delivery with customers, collecting payments where required, and ensure all equipment and freight are secured.

Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including daily records of hours of service as required by DOT and company policies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tractor and loading dock area.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience.
High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent.
Valid CDL A driver's license.
Meets all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Pass a road test.
Valid current DOT Health Card, or the ability to secure one.
Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases/freight of varying sizes and weights, typically ranging from 10-35 pounds up to 60-90 pounds depending on the location.
