Responsibilities:
A Radiology Technician at Monroe Hospital serves as the primary point of contact for our patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met successfully. Key duties include:
Performing Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures in accordance with department protocols.
Participating in Performance Improvement/Quality Control activities.
Assisting in the maintenance of the Performance Improvement Program.
Overseeing the radiology area and staff in the absence of a manager or director.
Maintaining department supplies and equipment.
Fostering teamwork and providing excellent customer service.
Coordinating schedules for assigned sub-departments and managing supplies and equipment.
Processing and transmitting images to the PACS system.
Qualifications:
Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
National certifications in two modalities are required.
Current BLS certification (AHA).
Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
One year of experience in acute clinical radiography is preferred.
Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
Proficient computer skills.
