Summary This role offers a significant opportunity for an experienced Human Resources/Labor Relations professional to influence the organization and multiple project sites by supporting the development and implementation of labor relations strategies essential for safe and successful construction operations, as well as fostering a sustainable employee engagement strategy.
Success in this role is defined by collaboration with operational and project leaders, as well as external Labor Relations practitioners, to build long-term relationships within the renewable energy and civil construction industry.

Position Responsibilities Act as the company spokesperson and negotiation team leader in labor negotiations.
Implement bargaining strategies aligned with business objectives, using a collaborative approach with senior leadership and HR functions.
Provide guidance and support in dispute resolution, including grievance and arbitration management, and promote labor-management cooperation.
Partner effectively with legal counsel and HR business partners.
Develop and interpret labor relations policies, delivering best practices for various labor issues impacting business plans.
Build credible, supportive, and trust-based relationships with direct reports, peers, and all internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct or collaborate on workplace investigations involving union and project management.
Work with HR leadership and project teams to establish best practices ensuring compliance with labor laws and union contracts, while promoting safety culture.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years in Human Resources Management in Union Environments.
At least 5 years' experience in Labor Relations and HR within the Construction Industry.
Experience in negotiating Labor Agreements and Arbitration.
At least 5 years' experience in grievance procedure administration, including settlement negotiations and arbitration presentation preparation.
Experience conducting investigations.
Conflict management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Preferences SPHR or SHRM certification.
SCP Certification.
Essential Attributes Ability to build effective relationships and influence labor relations practices with business leaders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including effective listening skills.
