MCS Associate Quality Control

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a
MCS Associate Quality Control

Position type: Fulltime - Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

As a MCS Associate Quality Control, you will:

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and/or SmartLab (LMES) with efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure equipment preventive maintenance is performed per requirements and by due date as assigned
• Participate in investigation of out-of-specification and/or non-conforming test results
• Support internal and external inspections and audits as needed (lab preparation, data retrieval etc.)
• Troubleshoot and solve problems
• Implement prevention or corrective actions based on lab manager feedback
• Perform QC Support tasks (organization/cleaning of lab, checking expired media removal, archiving documentation, preliminary plate readings)
• Support Microbiology lab with analytical testing
• Implementation of lab improvements

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline or Life Sciences and one-year related experience

Physical Requirements:
• Frequent sitting, fine hand manipulation, repetitive handling of agar plates
• Lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 15 pounds

Working Conditions:
• Use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, shoes, lab coats, gloves, mask)

Preferred Qualifications:
• GxP experience in biopharmaceutical testing
• Experience with QC systems (CDOCS/Veeva Vault, LIMS, SmartLab/LMES)
• Knowledge of Data Integrity Requirements in QC systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $25.00-$27.00 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
