Join to apply for the Account Executive, Ticket Sales role at Washington Nationals .
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ticket Sales, the Account Executive, Ticket Sales responsibilities include the planning, organizing, and execution of the company's new and group sales programs. The goal is to achieve optimal ticket sales volume in group sales, premium sales, and NATS PLUS memberships to ensure desired sales results.
The Nationals are a military-friendly organization actively recruiting veterans and spouses.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Focus on increasing revenue and attendance through full menu selling opportunities, including:
Group Ticket Sales (theme nights and hospitality areas)
NATS PLUS season ticket packages (full, half, partial plans)
Premium Sales (annual/nightly leases, club seating)
Develop strong account relationships through scheduled and strategic touchpoints.
Identify opportunities to up-sell/cross-sell current clients.
Provide excellent customer service to existing group accounts.
Contact leads for new group and season ticket packages through outbound efforts.
Coordinate and execute sales appointments via cold calling, prospecting, and referrals.
Creatively prospect for new business to grow season ticket and group client base.
Attend networking, marketing, and community events as needed.
Maintain a daily/weekly outbound call volume.
Host and visit clients during home games.
Maintain organized records in Salesforce.
Submit activity plans daily and provide accurate reports.
Achieve individual and departmental sales goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
At least two years' experience in sports sales, customer service, or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to present to top executives and large groups.
Strong networking skills.
Ability to learn new software including Tickets.com and Salesforce.
Basic contract and invoice skills.
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Attention to data integrity and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical/Environmental Requirements Normal office conditions; occasional weekends/evenings.
Work in crowded outdoor venues; exposure to weather; physical activity involved.
Compensation and Benefits The hourly wage is $17.50, plus potential commissions. Benefits include paid leave, insurance, 401(k), tickets, discounts, and a fitness center.
