Account Manager - Trade Me Marketplace

This role is important to shaping the success of our Marketplace Professional Sellers. You'll be a vital link between Trade Me and our top retail merchants, driving sales growth and revenue, building lasting relationships and maximising retention.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

To grow and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of professional sellers, being their primary point of contact
Establish and manage call cycles to ensure consistent communication and proactive support
Drive revenue growth by upselling Trade Me's premium products and services
Provide promotional opportunities for existing merchants to grow
Introduce new packages and opportunities to best fit your clients
Provide data-driven insights to optimise seller conversion rates
Develop an understanding of the online retail market to feed into broader marketplace plans
Work with other members of our Marketplace team to investigate and develop additional revenue opportunities

What you will bring to our team:

Experience in an Account Management role
A background in digital sales or digital marketing
Experience growing and strengthening relationships with clients at all levels
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is desirable
Solid analytical skills - the ability to see opportunities through effective use of data
Strong presentation skills - the ability to deliver a compelling story
A genuine curiosity to uncover and solve customer challenges
