Building Services Manager - Residential Construction | Greater Dublin Area

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Building Services Manager to oversee multiple high-profile residential projects across the Greater Dublin Area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to delivering best-in-class residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage M&E design teams across several projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with project requirements.
Develop strategic plans and effective look-aheads to ensure smooth integration of M&E systems in line with project delivery timelines.
Support and advise site management teams on M&E processes, system selection, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee and direct the M&E function across various projects, driving high standards of quality and programme delivery.
Mentor and coach Building Services Engineers to support their professional development.
Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to the building services function as project needs arise.
Ensure continuous quality control of M&E installations from initial coordination through to commissioning and final handover.
Manage M&E sub-contractors onsite, ensuring works meet programme, budget, and quality targets.
Contribute to innovation and value engineering processes, promoting the use of cutting-edge mechanical and electrical systems.
Standardise and manage temporary services designs (electric/water) across projects.
Collaborate closely with internal Utility Coordinators to manage third-party utility connections.The Ideal Candidate:

Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar project or senior management role.
Proven track record in managing large-scale construction M&E projects.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
A natural problem solver with strong attention to detail.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.
Strong communicator and relationship builder.
Committed to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in building services.
Full understanding of general construction processes and principles.
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites across Greater Dublin.What's on offer:
