As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Blacklane's chauffeur domain, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a great experience for our chauffeurs. You will be an active part of defining the team's roadmap, reviewing pull requests, engaging in pair programming sessions, and more.
YOUR CHALLENGE :
Take a leading role in the architectural design and development of our chauffeur app while managing complex features with ambiguity.
Mentor colleagues and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and team growth.
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and integrate them into projects.
Collaborate with product and design teams to implement intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces.
Lead communication across teams and stakeholders to align on the big picture as mobile products extend to services.
Support and collaborate with Blacklane's internal Android guild to advance mobile engineering.
ABOUT YOU :
5+ years of experience in Kotlin app development.
Proficient in building UIs with Jetpack Compose.
Experience with Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).
Familiar with version control systems.
Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
Strong understanding of Android frameworks, design patterns, and best practices.
Optional: Experience with tools like Phrase, Runway, or Datadog.
Optional: Familiarity with Google Play Console and app publishing processes.
