On-site Solution Engineer, Azure Cloud

As an On-site Solution Engineer, you will be key in implementing software directly at customer locations while also supporting scalable Azure cloud solutions.
This newly established engineering role offers the opportunity to work across borders, with frequent international travel as a key element.

What you will do
In this role, you will deploy, configure and support technical solutions at customer sites, conduct training and act as the link between users and internal teams.
As part of Systematic's cloud transformation, you will also help develop and maintain Azure-based environments, contributing to the design and deployment of scalable cloud infrastructure.

You can look forward to:

• deploying, configuring and testing software solutions in real-world customer environments
• conducting technical training and workshops for end-users and administrators
• developing and maintaining cloud solutions using Azure services
• troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across on-site and cloud-based systems
• coordinating closely with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery

In this role we expect approximately 60-100 travel days per year.

The team you will be joining
You will be part of our Defence Services organisation, which ensures that users of the SitaWare Suite receive the best possible support to maximise the value of our products across more than 50 countries.
You will join our dynamic and growing Defence Services team in Copenhagen, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager for the Nordic constellation.
You will be based at our office in the heart of Copenhagen, but after your onboarding period, you can expect extensive business travel while collaborating closely with project teams, colleagues, Defence customers and stakeholders across our global constellations.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused engineer who thrives in a highly technical and dynamic environment.
You bring a solid foundation in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies along with the flexibility and communication skills needed to work closely with international customers and cross-functional teams.

We are also looking for:

• a technical education and several years of hands-on experience in system integration, IT infrastructure or software deployment - ideally in a customer-facing role
• solid experience with Azure services and cloud architecture, including proficiency in Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines

You don't need to be an expert in everything, but familiarity with some of the following would be a plus:

• Scripting with PowerShell and Bash/Shell
• Git and version control workflows
• Containerisation technologies such as Docker

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects.
