Customer Experience

Ensure the execution of the Customer Experience strategy and provide resolutions for all customer concerns.
Offer an exceptional omni-channel experience by facilitating in-store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within established service levels.

Operations

Demonstrate and ensure adherence to visual compliance standards, store maintenance, and pricing standards.
Lead the implementation and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Responsible for achieving annual corporate shrink targets through team education, enforcement of LP and audit standards, and strict inventory control.
Ensure compliance with all corporate LP, Cash, Audit, and OH&S policies and procedures.
Follow and oversee processes and systems for tech shop service programs, including maintenance and compliance standards.
Create efficient weekly store schedules for sales and support functions.

Training

Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to management and team members based on key metrics and observed behaviors through huddles, one-on-one meetings, and performance management programs.
Develop staff development plans; support and coach team members to address performance gaps and conduct continuous coaching for improvement.

Leadership

Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our stores, programs, brands, and people both internally and externally.
Effectively problem solve, delegate tasks, and follow up with team members.
Maintain SportChek's performance management standards, including providing feedback, coaching, and implementing progressive discipline when necessary.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment that is safe and empowering.

Qualifications

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop department and store teams through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support.
Results-driven with the ability to develop and execute daily and weekly plans for the department and store.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Strong training and mentoring skills.
3-5 years of retail management experience required.
High energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed.
Basic computer skills.

At Canadian Tire Group of Companies, we foster a transparent environment where contributions are recognized, valued, and rewarded. Salary is based on experience, store volume, location, and role-specific factors. Beyond a competitive base salary of $50,000 to $75,000, benefits, bonuses, and additional compensation are provided.
