Plunging into claims with style, investigates claims via telephone, email, and video communication, exercising judgment in relation to policy verification and coverage determination.Establishes timely reserves and performs ongoing review throughout claims cycle within authority limit by estimating and validating value of claims.Writes estimates for related damage, provides customers scope of loss and cost of repairs.
Negotiates settlement of claims in a satisfactory and equitable manner, within authority limit.Ensures customer service by proactively communicating information and responding to inquiries from insureds, brokers, and adjusters in a timely manner;Addresses potential subrogation on files, and refers claims to appropriate personnel if fraud is identified;Responsible for standard office duties and preparation and submission of reports (e.g., caption reports, detailed assessments).
WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX:
High School Grad:
Completion of Grade 12 education Insurance Wizard:
Successful completion of at least four Insurance Institute courses along with a positive commitment toward completion of the CIP designation, demonstrated by completing two Institute courses per year.
Experience Counts:
A minimum two (2) years experience in the industryMaster Communicator:
