New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a technical expert with Amanda 7 and Amanda Citizen Portal experience to assist with redesigning a municipal development approval process into a paperless system. The role involves providing technical support and programming services for the project.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Project Manager on the development services optimization project.
2. Deliver end-to-end changes for a minimum of 17 permit types in Amanda 7.
3. Replicate desired workflows into Amanda 7 and mirror workflows into Amanda Citizen Portal.
4. Assist in designing and creating reports for stakeholders.
5. Provide expertise and strategic recommendations for workflow and reporting enhancements.
6. Design and implement a simplified user interface in Amanda.
7. Develop, test, and code software following city standards.
8. Prepare user manuals and system documentation.
9. Develop test scripts and offer training for completed work.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Amanda 7 and Amanda Citizen Portal.
• Experience with Amanda Batch Scheduler and as a systems administrator for Amanda back-office.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
• Experience within municipal government.
• Familiarity with SAP Crystal Reports is beneficial.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
