Business Architect

The roadmap focuses, among other things, on the setup of production sites, the implementation of a new ERP and MES system (SAP) at these sites, and the optimization of the organization (business processes, roles, etc.).
Project teams collaborate closely within and across different tracks to achieve the overall objectives in a coherent manner.

As a Solution Business Architect, you will be part of one or more project teams and contribute to the development and optimization of the business processes and application landscape within the Production area.

In addition, you will take on a cross-project role, translating the enterprise architecture into concrete solution architectures.
Together with the enterprise architects, you will monitor the realization of the validated architecture and, when necessary, adjust either the implementation or the architecture itself.

Your responsibilities:

• Initiating projects to produce initial validated project briefs and handing them over to the Project Manager and project team when the project definition phase begins.
• Developing the business architecture content from the enterprise architecture through in-depth business analysis with a project/milestone-driven focus, so the impact of the chosen strategy becomes clear and the business can make informed decisions.
• Involving business stakeholders in the analysis and validation of proposed solutions.
• Aligning the business architecture content with the IT solution architecture, and communicating both in alignment with the IT Solution Architect to the project team, ensuring focused delivery of the intended business solution.
• Safeguarding the business architecture during project/program execution.
• Coaching and sharing knowledge with others performing business analysis, process analysis, or functional analysis roles within projects.

Expected Outputs (not exhaustive):

• Develop solution business architecture aligned with business milestones, based on the strategic framework and enterprise architecture.
• Project briefs that clearly define scope, cost, timeline, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and resource demands.
• High-level and detailed business requirements analyses with organizational, process, and IT impact.
• Document and update the deliverables/artifacts expected by the organization.
