Hourly Rate: From $33.41 + 25% loading for casuals (plus shift penalties where applicable)
Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging options available for all staff (up to $15,900/pa)

Our Ideal Candidate

Willing to work active night shifts and sleepover shifts.
Willing to participate in shift work including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Must hold an NSW Driver's License (P2/Full).
Willing to drive a Unisson vehicle.
Must hold a First Aid Certificate.
High enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude.
Emotional intelligence, resilience, and capacity to perform the work required.
Experience working with people with disabilities is desirable.
Certificate III and/or IV in Disability and prior experience are desirable.

About The Position

We seek motivated, innovative, and resilient individuals to support clients with intellectual disabilities across several homes in the Central Coast. The role involves working across 8 houses with flexible hours, including short and long shifts. Clients enjoy sensory activities, cooking, arts & crafts, family time, and community activities. They require support with complex behaviors and engagement in meaningful activities.

The Responsibilities Of The Position Include

Support and encourage clients in activities within the home and community.
Assist clients with personal care (toileting, showering, grooming, dressing) as per their person-centered plan.
Apply manual handling techniques specified in the client's plan.
Transport clients to appointments or activities using vehicles or public transport.
Respect clients' dignity, cultural background, and beliefs when interacting with them and their families.
Participate in developing, implementing, and reviewing each client's plans and behavior support strategies.
Work cooperatively as part of a team, treating colleagues with respect.
Respond to incidents and injuries according to policies and NDIS standards.
