To develop, manage, and monitor the Air Arabia and 3rd Party aircrafts'Structures' for reliability; encompassing short/long term maintenance needs and modifications to optimize and extend the reliability and airworthiness of the aircraft structures, enhance operational dispatch, and ensure fleet readiness and safety, as well as compliance with the Airworthiness Directive issued by the relevant aviation authorities.
Support engineering maintenance activities on a day-to-day basis (Line, Hangar, MCC, other CAMO Departments), including data collection, performance review, analysis of requests, management reporting, corrective actions, and necessary modifications.
Liaise between Air Arabia and external parties such as OEMs and regulatory bodies regarding modifications, corrective measures, and projects.
Use data from various sources to conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshooting to determine aircraft efficiency and maintenance needs.
Analyze data and technical reports to predict component life cycles, identify trends, highlight findings, and suggest solutions and proactive modifications.
Identify corrective measures and modifications to address damages or airworthiness issues, and recommend additions or exclusions to the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) with appropriate justification and evidence.
Review technical documents, evaluate services, and prepare business cases; draft Engineering Orders (EOs) for modifications and repairs.
Collaborate with stakeholders such as Projects, Warranty, Legal, and Finance in developing new projects, initiatives, and drafting related contracts and SLAs, including evaluations, feasibility studies, testing, etc.
Assist the Head of Engineering in developing procedures, specifications, and Engineering Operational Standards (EOS) for the CAMO.
Maintain a comprehensive database of all defects, damages, repairs, drawings, and charts for the Air Arabia fleet and third-party aircraft, including cabin configuration changes and related drawings. Act as the primary custodian of all aircraft paint drawings.
Provide guidance and support to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) providers, communicating any changes, mandatory modifications, and necessary actions.
Assist in closing occurrence reports and audit findings.
Participate in internal and external meetings, conferences, and events related to the function.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (LAE); or a higher diploma/certificate in a related field from a recognized institution, with relevant experience.
Proficiency in CAD drawing is advantageous.
Certificates in Project Management, Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting, and Quality Assurance are valuable and may be conditional for this role.
Proficient in technology systems and tools, including Microsoft Office, MRO systems, and web search.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentation abilities.
Work Experience

Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the aviation industry; experience during on-the-job training or post-university at an airline as a trainee or similar role counts towards this experience. Experience with Airbus A320 aircraft is highly desirable.
Knowledge of aircraft airworthiness programs and regulations, such as CAMO requirements.
Understanding of aircraft maintenance planning, systems, and their relation to maintenance programs.
Familiarity with Civil Aviation Authority regulations, preferably GCAA, regarding engineering maintenance policies, procedures, and manuals.
Working knowledge of EASA Part 145, Part 21, and Subpart M requirements.
Ability to measure performance against technical regulations and contracts.
Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and manuals aligned with regulations and quality standards.
Exposure to Quality Assurance, Safety, and internal and external audit practices affecting maintenance programs.
Cost-consciousness, effective problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
