Department/Unit Summary:

Our Surgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center features 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, 6 private Pre-Admission Testing rooms, and 30 same-day surgery rooms. Our surgical team is composed of specially trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists, and other highly skilled professionals. We are devoted to providing outstanding and compassionate care from pre-op to discharge.

How You'll Contribute:

In this role, you will utilize specialized care interventions and serve as an innovator in patient care. You will shape exceptional patient journeys daily, leveraging your skills and our advanced technology to positively impact patient well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Applicants must have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

Associate's Degree in Nursing.
1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
Must hold an active Alabama or Compact RN License.
ACLS and PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
What You Will Do:

You will be responsible for providing immediate post-operative recovery care for perioperative patients in the PACU, utilizing the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care.
