Configurar y operar una variedad de máquinas herramienta para producir piezas e instrumentos de precisión.
Incluye fabricantes de instrumentos de precisión que fabrican, modifican o reparan instrumentos mecánicos.
También puede fabricar y modificar piezas para hacer o reparar máquinas herramientas o mantener máquinas industriales, aplicando conocimientos de mecánica, matemáticas, propiedades del metal, diseño y procedimientos de mecanizado.

4 días a la semana (lunes a jueves/ martes a viernes) de 15:

Responsabilidades:
Manejo de máquinas o equipos - Manejar equipos y máquinas básicos y realizar tareas rutinarias.
Gestión de Operaciones - Llevar a cabo tareas operativas siguiendo los procesos establecidos.
Mantenimiento y reparación de equipos - Ayudar a mantener y reparar equipos realizando preparativos y prestando asistencia.
Salud, seguridad y medio ambiente - Seguir instrucciones de trabajo básicas obligatorias para salvaguardar el medio ambiente y el bienestar propio y de los demás.
Cumplimiento operativo - Seguir un procedimiento obligatorio sencillo para garantizar que el trabajo se realiza de acuerdo con las normas de calidad exigidas y/o para garantizar el cumplimiento de los códigos normativos externos y los códigos de conducta internos.
Utilización de equipos de precisión - Interpretar y utilizar equipos/instrumentos de medición de precisión como micrómetros, relojes comparadores y medidores de profundidad.
Instrucciones y planos - Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos y tolerancias geométricas.
Comunicaciones internas - Intercambiar información con las personas teniendo interacciones corteses con ellas.
Políticas y procedimientos - Trabaja con orientación para comprender las políticas y los procedimientos, al tiempo que se asegura de que coincidan con las estrategias y los objetivos de la organización.

Requisitos:
HS Diploma / GED y / o 1-3 años de experiencia relevante de mecanizado en un entorno de fabricación o reparación de operar tornos manuales, fresadoras o tornos CNC / fresas.
Experiencia en autoprogramación o edición de programas.
Destreza con herramientas de medición de precisión, como calibres y micrómetros.
Capacidad para trabajar en el turno de noche.
Utiliza habilidades de comunicación verbal claras y eficaces para expresar ideas y solicitar acciones.
Trabaja con orientación para planificar, organizar y priorizar actividades a fin de cumplir eficazmente los objetivos empresariales.
Aplica conceptos elementales para gestionar y aplicar sistemas de trabajo seguros.
Experiencia / habilidades preferidas:
Experiencia en el mecanizado de piezas o productos similares.
Alto volumen y variedad.
Sólida experiencia en la escritura de sus propios programas.
