Finance Systems Manager - Senior
Location: Foster City, CA 94404- Hybrid

Seeking a passionate, authentic, dynamic and results-oriented manager to join the Finance Systems Strategy (FSS) team as the Senior Manager FSS, FP&A and Tooling. FSS is responsible for managing Finance technology and tools and is currently working directly with the Finance Leadership team to design the future architecture and drive the Finance Technology modernization roadmap.
Client is established a broader Finance Velocity Office (FVO) to build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of our business and improves the day-to-day interactions of our Finance teams. FSS team is working tightly with the broader FVO to implement technology to evolve how we work together to achieve meaningful, sustainable change and enable our long-term growth agenda.
This is a senior manager role and involves collaborating with key stakeholders across Finance, IT and the broader business to understand business needs, identify improvement opportunities to develop and execute on the roadmap to help accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function.
Responsibilities and key success criteria:
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal customers across with particular focus on FVO, Global FPA and Corporate IT
Collaborate with FVO, FSS, Corporate IT and third parties to achieve planned project outcomes
Provide end user support (research, functionality, etc.)
Collaborate with business partners to develop comprehensive and concise business requirements and user stories for requirements
Work with IT dev team to support agile development of the new system's enhancements
Demonstrate technical expertise and business acumen
Ensure Global data and process standards are implemented
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all system changes and enhancements
Drive efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining, standardizing and automating processes and reporting requirements.
Communicate effectively and proactively with all levels of management and articulate ideas and recommendations clearly.
Ensure compliance with Financial Internal Controls and SOX policies as deemed appropriate. Identify, recommend and implement control improvements throughout the business provided processes
Maintain system training material and deliver end user Training
Participate and support business recovery/continuity planning testing
Document and maintain business admin run books and standard operating procedures
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree
8+ years of Financial Systems (i.e. Oracle; SAP; etc.) experience or significant experience with Hyperion EPM financials systems
Experience through all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, testing, go-live migration) and experience with project tracking tools like Jira Align, Jira Standard and AskNow
Experience designing and executing financial systems implementation (e.g. Oracle, Anaplan, SAP, etc.,).
Experience of critical thinking with proven ability to "connect the dots' and approach issue resolution with a "forward-looking' view to anticipate and address problems
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, possess good judgement and organisational skills, able to work independently, and be extremely flexible
Experience working on multi-stakeholder initiatives, focused on improving the customer experience.
Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
Must be self-motivated and can support and motivate others
