Responsibilities include creating detailed technical designs, conducting simulations and analyses, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring designs are cost-effective, compliant with regulations, and optimized for operational efficiency and safety.Key Accountability AreasDesign Development:
Create detailed electrical, mechanical, and control system designs for HVDC systems, including converters, transformers, control equipment, and protection systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.System Design and Analysis:
Perform analyses and simulations to optimize performance and validate designs against safety and operational requirements.Specification Development:
Develop technical specifications, drawings, and schematics aligned with project needs.Collaboration:
Work with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure feasibility and adherence to timelines and budgets.Standards Compliance:
Ensure designs meet IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and other relevant standards.Prototype Testing:
Assist with testing and validation, analyzing results to refine designs.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive design reports, test results, and calculations for stakeholder transparency.Design Optimization:
Continuously improve designs for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness using latest technologies and industry best practices.Support During Deployment:
