Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Bus Driver Permanent Contract, Part-time 15 hours per week Monday to Friday (split hours morning and afternoon shifts) Location NLN Cork locations - Bantry County Cork Job Purpose To transport clients as required in a responsible and safe manner maintaining the highest standard of driving, in accordance with a National Driving School and the Department of Environment competency examination.
What we're looking for:
Qualifications Category Irish D1 Full Clean Driving licence.
Current valid Drivers CPC Card.
Experience Disability awareness and experience of transporting passengers with limited mobility or who use wheelchairs is desirable.
Relevant Occupational experience.
A minimum of 2 years relevant driving experience.
Key Skills Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
Your Responsibilities Passenger Safety & Compliance
• - Ensure all passengers are safely seated, using seat belts and clamps, while strictly following road safety regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance
• - Keep the vehicle in a safe, roadworthy, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
Assisting Passengers
• - Support clients when boarding and exiting the vehicle using appropriate lifting techniques.
Effective Communication
• - Interact respectfully with clients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
Service Quality & Improvement
• - Participate in training and contribute to a high-quality, continuously improving service for clients.
