The Opportunity

We're looking for a Sales Leader to drive performance in our New Business Field Sales Team. This is a pivotal leadership role in a high-growth environment where you'll lead a team targeting a specific vertical market. You'll help shape our sales strategy, grow our customer base, and deliver real impact.

You'll be joining a thriving, market-leading software business-ideal for someone who is ambitious, commercially savvy, and excited by challenge and opportunity.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team to exceed targets
Develop and execute a clear, strategic sales plan for both new business and revenue growth
Enable your team to confidently communicate IRIS's full product and solution offering
Recruit, onboard, and continually develop top sales talent
Foster long-term, value-driven customer relationships
Report accurate sales forecasts and performance insights to leadership
Identify and respond to market trends, competitor moves, and emerging opportunities

What You'll Bring

Proven success in a software sales leadership role, consistently hitting and exceeding targets
Strong working knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, SPIN)
Excellent team coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills
Ability to influence at all levels, including executive stakeholders
Experience building strategic sales plans and seeing them through to execution
Strong commercial awareness and business insight
Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Clear, concise communicator with strong attention to detail
A degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Commitment to continuous learning through training, workshops, and industry events
