Bucksmore Education is a leading provider of academic short courses for international students of all ages. Established in 1979, Bucksmore welcomes over 1,500 students, predominantly in summer, but also throughout the year from all over the world. Bucksmore is part of the large Nord Anglia Education group, which operates over 80 international schools across the world.
Job Overview
The Director assumes full responsibility for all aspects of Bucksmore Education, including P&L management, budget design and ownership to EBITDA level, and overseeing commercial, financial, and operational activities. The Director will interact with central Nord Anglia Education (NAE) functions and NAE schools globally.
Bucksmore Education comprises three main product and revenue areas:
1) UK summer schools; 2) tailored groups for schools & universities in the UK; and 3) year-round 1:
1 home tuition. The Director oversees all products through three direct reports and a team of 10 staff, in addition to seasonal staff.
Key Responsibilities
Manage operations, sales, marketing, and admissions to ensure strategic goals are met.
Coordinate with NAE functions including sales, HR, finance, and IT.
Drive growth in revenue and profitability.
Ensure programme delivery quality and compliance with standards.
