Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the bespoke furniture design department
Oversee projects from initial client meetings to final delivery
Act as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Ensure seamless coordination between design, production, manufacturing, and engineering teams
Negotiate and manage project requirements, timelines, and budgets
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support throughout the design process
Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, from screen to machine

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in furniture design
Proven experience in both design and management within bespoke furniture or related industries
Strong technical knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design-to-production workflows
Proficiency in CAD software (mandatory)
Experience with SolidWorks (required) and Cabinet Vision (a plus)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with clients and subcontractors
Ability to lead a team and coordinate across multiple departmentsLocation: Co. Meath
