The position

As a Business Domain Architect for one of the Clinical Development areas, such as Trial Planning and Execution, Regulatory and Safety, Data Science, and cross-domain architecture, you will:

1. Understand, analyze, and document key business processes and capabilities, identifying improvement opportunities and technology requirements for digital transformation.
   
2. Develop and maintain the domain-specific architecture blueprint, including the process hierarchy, business capability maps, value streams, and process flows.
   
3. Co-create roadmaps for core systems with Business Architect VP, DD&IT Development Architect VP, DD&IT Dev Architects, and Digital Product Teams.
   
4. Act as a trusted advisor supporting digital strategies and translating business challenges into actionable solutions.
   
5. Guide digital initiative teams to ensure technology solutions align with IT architecture and contribute to early consultancy for digital initiatives.
   

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet most of the following requirements:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science, or related field
2. 6+ years in senior Business Analysis, Business Architecture, or Solutions Architecture roles
3. Strong domain expertise with strategic planning skills and solid understanding of core IT systems and technologies for that domain
4. Experience with business process modeling, enterprise architecture, and associated tools
5. Academic qualifications or professional training and experience in pharma, especially Development
6. Ability to visualize business architecture and build high-level models for future analysis
7. Excellent business acumen, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities
