Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Edmonton, AB for a Security Sales Manager. The Security Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and cultivating client relationships. Daily tasks include developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, preparing sales reports, and staying apprised of industry trends. Collaboration with the operations team to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery will also be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

Sales and Customer Relationship Management skills
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities
Proficient in preparing and presenting sales reports
Experience in the security industry is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Lead Generation & Business Development
Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, cold-calling, industry events, and digital outreach.
Qualify prospects and develop a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the first point of contact for all prospective and existing clients, delivering a professional, consultative experience.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships through regular check-ins, tailored proposals, and exceptional follow-through.
Bid Preparation & Proposal Development
Collaborate with operations and technical teams to prepare comprehensive security service bids and proposals.
Ensure that all submissions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements and industry best practices.
Sales Strategy & Reporting
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to penetrate key market segments (e.G., retail, healthcare, construction).
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine tactics and identify emerging opportunities.
Track and analyze sales metrics;
prepare detailed reports and forecasts for senior management.
Contract Negotiation & Closing
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial inquiry through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the operations team to communicate client expectations and ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide ongoing feedback to service teams based on client insights and emerging security requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to enhance World Guardian's service offerings and value proposition.
