We are seeking disability support workers to provide assistance:
Location:
Pakenham, VictoriaProviding 1:
1 supports accessing the community and/or assistance in the homeMondays 10am - 2pm8 hours per fortnightResponsibilities:
Implement support plans based on supported person's needs, preferences, and interestsNeeds own vehicle suitable for transport to access the community, with the use of a wheelchair.Help with all aspects of daily living from getting up in the morning to going to bed at nightAid people to get to their chosen activities like social events, work, and appointmentsPromote personal choice and control for the personAssist with personal care, hygiene and household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and washingAdminister medicationQualifications and Experience:
A passion for enabling and working with peopleDesire for meaningful work and comfortable providing people with daily living supportWillingness to work as part of a teamYou will also bring with you or be willing to obtain:
