Tax Manager - Business Tax Services - Healthcare Tax Exempt
Overview
Seeking an experienced Tax Manager for its Business Tax Services Tax-Exempt practice. The role involves working with tax-exempt organizations, providing federal tax compliance and consulting services across various non-profit industries. Available in 27 locations nationwide.
Responsibilities
As a Tax Manager, you will:
Maintain and develop client relationships on federal tax consulting and compliance engagements
Advise clients on various tax issues
Oversee federal tax compliance and consulting projects
Manage engagement workflow, resources, and billing
Provide leadership and guidance to the engagement team
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years' federal taxation experience, especially with tax-exempt organizations (501(c)(3)s and 501(c)(4)s)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
Licenses or certifications: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, CFP
Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degrees such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM
Experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms
Strong understanding of federal tax compliance, analysis, and research
Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, restructuring in tax-exempt organizations
Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills
Strong analytical skills

The salary range is estimated between $84,980 and $193,440, based on various factors including experience and location. Opportunities for discretionary annual incentives are available, depending on performance.
